Surreyโ€™s First Dedicated Rum Distillery

We make Award Winning Premium Rums completely from Scratch in the Surrey Hills, using the finest Cane Sugar Molasses.

From fermentation to bottling, we cover the whole Rum making process, from โ€˜molasses to glassโ€™ as we like to say!

We are a family run business and launched on the 12th of November 2020 with our Golden Spiced Rum. This was followed up with the launch of our Premium Silver Rum on the 23rd of April 2021.

We also have a Dark Rum and Fruit Infused Rum in developmentโ€ฆ

The West Clandon Dragon #FindTheDragon

If you arenโ€™t careful, you will miss itโ€ฆ but on the edge of the village of West Clandon you will find the ghost of the Clandon Dragon on a grassy bank by the roadside. The legend of the Clandon Dragon is one of our favourite local yarns. It is said that from as early as the 1700โ€™s villagers and travellers had reported a large Dragon or serpent blocking the road through Clandon. Nobody dared approach itโ€ฆ

That was the case until one fateful day a lone soldier, a man condemned and disgraced for deserting his regiment, took on the beast. He saw this as his chance for redemption, to save the townsfolk and liberate Clandon from its terrorโ€ฆ Alongside his faithful dog, he engaged in a ferocious battle with the monster and prevailed! As a reward for his courage, the soldier was said to be given settlement in the village. Not only does the chalk Dragon commemorate the fierce battle, but the signposts along Clandonโ€™s main road all depict the fight between the fierce Dragon and the soldierโ€™s faithful friend.
